Alex believes that yoga can improve all aspects of life and wants to share that possibility with her students. Her classes will challenge you physically but focus on poses that are accessible to those of all levels. She strives to create a safe space where you can explore yoga without judgment of your body or your abilities. Alex started yoga with an Ashtanga practice, but has since explored vinyasa, restorative, and Forrest yoga. She has been trained in Ashtanga and vinyasa yoga and currently studies with David Vendetti. Alex is also assisting David's Body Awakening teacher training.

Catherine helps you to methodically go deeper in your poses and to fully experience the journey that each pose takes you on. She will lead you through a smart, sweaty, and fun practice that will unstifle your mind and body. Her own yoga practice as well as her teaching style is highly influenced by Robert Boustany and Ana Forrest. The Boustany Method consists of classical yoga philosophy, eastern energy concepts, and modern science to optimize and merge your physical, mental, and emotional health. The long and intense holds in Forrest yoga give you the courage and compassion to heal and grow both on and off the mat. Ultimately, yoga has taught her to appreciate more and judge less, no matter how imperfect her handstands are.

Dustin's official yoga teaching career began six years ago in Ithaca, NY while attending undergraduate school at Cornell University. After a period of time as a Hindu monk in India, Dustin realized that being a monk 'in the world', rather than 'out of it', allowed him a much fuller expression and capacity to play with, in, and as, the Divine.
Most recently, after spending two years working under the leadership of Integral Philosopher Ken Wilber at the Integral Institute in Boulder, Colorado, Dustin completed his first book Infinite Ladder: An Introduction to Integral Religious Studies (forthcoming through Integral Books). In it, Dustin uses several models of psychological intelligence (Moral Development, Faith Development, Ego Development, Value Development etc.) to trace how various stages of spiritual orientation unfold within each of our world's religious traditions.
In addition to teaching yoga and writing full time, Dustin is currently pursuing a Masters of Liberal Arts Degree in Religion at Harvard University.

Emil teaches an accessible yoga class that combines the intensity of Ashtanga and Forrest yoga with the playfulness and freedom that can be found in vinyasa yoga. He creates a friendly and safe atmosphere where you can explore yoga's ability to strengthen, stretch and relax the body. Drawing on his experience from partner yoga and massage, Emil uses hands on adjustments to help you safely go deeper into poses and release tension. Emil has studied with David Vendetti and Daniel Orlansky and taken numerous workshops and classes to explore different styles of yoga.

Yoga allows me to be who I am without struggle. To notice, breathe, remember and enjoy this body, this moment. I love returning to my yoga mat to play in the body awakening, breathe into a heart wide open and find gratitude for the infinite that I forgot was me. Classes integrate a clear foundation in anatomy with intelligent alignment, hands on adjustments and ever evolving flows to heal the body. Students are encouraged to cultivate a deep passion for self examination, light hearted exploration and drop everything in order to find out that when we hold on to nothing, what is left, is all we truly need.
It has been an incredible gift to have studied and trained in yoga, structural bodywork and meditation. I have been honored to meet and practice with so many talented and amazing teachers whose work I cherish and share now as I teach. Thank you Patricia Walden, Ana Forrest, Tom Myers, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Lynne Begier, David Magone, Andrew Cohen, Bo Forbes, Sundara, Pamela Wilson, Arthur Kilmurray, Sri Louise, Byron Katie and Glenn Black for reflecting the limitless.

Dorian Rose fell in love with the energizing and therapeutic aspects of yoga when she began studying Ashtanga at Back Bay Yoga with David Vendetti in 2000. Having been injured training in dance and suffering from anxiety/depression, she found relief and compassion in yoga. She found she wished to share this experience and teacher-trained with Manju Jois, son of Pattabhi Jois, to deepen her practice. She has since explored the therapeutic and spiritual aspects of yoga, taking workshops with many teachers including Ana Forrest, Kelly Morris and Sundara. She has recently completed a 200 hr. training with Bo Forbes, whose unique style of Elemental Yoga integrates mind and body healing in yoga flows. Dorian teaches a class that focuses on challenging the practitioner to go further and open possibilites for creating space and ease in ones body and life.

Elizabeth has completed over 400 hours of teacher trainings and workshops with John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga. She has also assisted in his classes. In 2001, she completed a 200-hour training with Sarah Powers, Tias Little, and Paul Grilley in the Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Yin traditions. Her classes are uplifting, dynamic, and fun.

Gabriel offers a dynamic flow between postures, breath, and meditation infused with music, movement and insight. His classes are inviting yet challenging to beginning and seasoned practitioners alike. Inspired by the strength of Forrest, the fluidity of Vinyasa, the introspection of Yin and the healing of Restorative practices, Gabriel actively creates a safe space for growth and transformation.

Having lived in San Francisco and NYC, Johanna is a Jivamukti trained teacher and has been fortunate enough to study with many great teachers including David Life, Sharon Gannon, Cyndi Lee, Patricia Walden and Barbara Benagh. She is a breath of fresh air to her students who seek to bring balance to their lives in refreshing and inspiring yoga classes.

I came to yoga with a competitive athlete's background and expectations. I was promptly humbled by my first class, yet immediately drawn to the focus on the present and calming environment of the class. I continue to learn and enjoy this physical and emotional adventure, while I apply the "on the mat" skills of attention to breath and staying present to life off of the mat. Yoga has helped me to approach anxiety and depression in a healthy way, as well as given me a repertoire of yoga party tricks to wow my friends and family. I have found my grounding in a variety of yoga styles including vinyasa, Forrest and Ashtanga. With partner yoga and flying I have taken my practice to a whole new level of trust, stability and openness. I offer students a fun, accessible class filled with hands-on assists and lively music.

As a yogini with scoliosis, Magi strives to go beyond physical boundaries and explore undiscovered possibilities through her practice. She supports others in practicing yoga that is compatible with their bodies in the present and not what was or will be. Her classes create a safe, warm space where students are free to walk their own paths and she encourages them to spread this freedom throughout their lives. Through the power of love, release and freedom she empowers others to join her on the journey of self-discovery.

Marc began teaching yoga in 1998 after having been inspired by the transformative effects of the practice in his life. He soon focused his attention on Astanga yoga under the direction of David Swenson and Kathy McNames. He would later complete (220/500 hour) teacher certifications through FRA and Yoga Vermont. In 2005, Marc was introduced to Budokon, a Yogic and Martial art created by Cameron Shayne. This practice would enhance and expand upon ideas introduced years earlier. His classes integrate a love of music and an expression of movement that is both challenging and playful. His approach is based on the firm belief that each body must find its own unique path within the practice. Marc does not believe in 'one size fits all'. He encourages exploration and creativity in adjusting one's yoga practice to suit the body they were given.

I approach Vinyasa as connecting to a state of flow. Our world is in constant flux, where our own desires, needs and impulses are a moving river. Vinyasa is the practice of jumping into the river and moving with its currents. We don't know where the next bend in the river will lead us, but through the practice of Asana (posture) we can learn to be more fluid in our bodies and our lives.
In class you can expect guided movement meditation, inspiring Asana sequences, great music and opportunities for free flow. As a teacher I believe in cultivating a supportive space in which students feel safe enough to shed layers of inhibition and move to the beat of their own breath rhythm!
After having fallen in love with yoga through the enthusiasm of my first teacher David Vendetti, I went on to become certified to teach with 200hrs of study in the Kripalu methodology. I've since drawn from connection with various inspirational teachers, the most influential being Shiva Rea, and Barbara Benagh.

Roberto was introduced to yoga while visiting his sister in San Francisco in July 2001. Upon returning to Boston, he experimented with yoga and fell in love with it and its many gifts. Roberto was attracted to the challenge and peace he experienced. Instead of completing a graduate degree, Roberto decided in 2003 to follow the path of yoga because he found that sharing and teaching yoga provided a balanced and creative life.

My practice has been inspired by teacher trainings with Ana Forrest, Cameron Shayne, Glenn Black, Shandor Remete, and David Magone; and all the other wonderful teachers that I have taken class with including my husband (and first yoga teacher) David Vendetti, Lynne Begier, Cary Perkins, Sundara, Duncan Wong, Sri Louise, Toby Kumin and many more.
My teaching style tends to fall on the more "athletic" and strength-building side, and usually incorporates inversions and arm-balancing. I focus on the integrity of motion in between the asana poses, with careful and controlled floating movements rather than relying on momentum to launch a student from pose to pose. I feel that this approach builds intelligent strength and develops proprioception. For those students that don't have experience with arm balancing or don't feel they have the strength for it, I enjoy introducing people to the idea of challenging gravity and learning to develop the strength and confidence this requires. Modifications are always given and encouraged. Remember that the purpose of practice is to learn and develop, not to sit comfortably with what you already know.
